Plot[]

Cruiser Tetron is being rebuilt, it is up to Hero to travel to the asteroid where his minions are re-building him and attempt to stop him from ever returning again.

Gameplay[]

Hero Core picks up right after Hero. While the gameplay is similar Hero Core features new additions to weapons. The game is also no longer segmented by levels, the entire base can be explored at the player's leisure.

There are 10 different zones with a unique boss and upgrade for each one. A map can reveal save points, generators and warping is now a function for the player's convenience.

Tetron can also be challenged at any time however it is strongly recommended for new players to face the other bosses in order due to Hero powering up with every boss defeated.

The weapons were also expanded upon basic blaster the player starts off with. It can be upgraded upon defeating a boss. Another new weapon is the blade, it has short range but does incredible damage. Leveling it up allows it to cut through more objects.
